We are a small family farm located in Norco in beautiful Southern California. We breed Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats for show, milking and pets. We also breed different heritage chickens. We truly enjoy our beloved goats, chickens, dogs, bunnies, mini pig, cats and our sulcata turtle.
Our journey with Nigerians started in 2016 when we got our first goats for milk and pets and it has progressed to having a performance herd with some lovely does, four of which are finished champions (Valentine, Sweet Tea, Love Bite and our homegrown beauty Lexi) and phenomenal bucks with great pedigrees. We are so proud to have a champion herd sire, our homegrown buck Kealoha is now a finished Grand Champion as a 2 year old!! After attending our 1st show a couple years after having goats, we were hooked. We have truly enjoyed showing as a family and try to attend as many shows as we can. In 2022 we finished our beautiful foundation does Hidden Hills G Sweet Valentine and Hidden Hills Sweet Tea and made the cross country trek with our goats and attended our 1st ADGA National Show in Harrisburg PA. We had a great 1st National Show and 5 of the 6 does we took placed in the top 20! 2023 was a memorable show season too. In the 1st show of the season, Amores Farm Lexus got her 3rd champion leg and is now our 1st home grown Grand Champion!! We were also able to travel with our goats to Redmond Oregon to the 2023 ADGA National Show and 9 of the does & doelings we took placed in the top 20 and our buck Algedi Farm CK Kinetic Riptide+*B, who we lost in July 2023 was 4th place Get of Sire. This was the 1st time Laz (husband) & Eli (son) showed together at Nationals and they made a great team. We ended the 2023 show season getting Best in Show with our homegrown intermediate kid Amores Farm AG Camellia. The 2024 show season has been pretty great too. The highlight was finishing Amores Farm *B and his Dam IlenesRascals Love Bite and getting Best in Show with our homegrown dry yearling Amores Farm Foxy Lady at the same show.
We started DHIA milk testing in 2020 and are currently on our 5th season of milk testing, we participated on our 1st Linear Appraisal in July 2021 and had our 2nd Linear Appraisal in September 2022 with the highlight that year being our homegrown doe Amores Farm Lexus (Lexi) scoring VEEE 91 at 2 years old!! Our herd was appraised again in May 2023 and we were so thrilled with our scores. Our beautiful Wolfivan Tootsie Roll scored an impressive EVEE92! Our 4th Linear Appraisal in April 2024 did not disappoint and our whole herd appraised well but the highlight was our Hidden Hills Sweet Tea scoring EEEE92 and our IlenesRascals Love Bite scoring VEEE 92! We are thrilled to have three “92” does in our herd.
All of our goats are ADGA registered and our whole herd has tested negative yearly for CAE, CL and Johnes since 2016 and our last testing was in 2023 and we tested for Q Fever also. See the 2023 negative lab results from UC Davis in the link below.
We bottle train, disbud and vaccinate all our babies and handle them daily to ensure they will be great additions to their next home and herd.
