We are a small family farm located in Norco in beautiful Southern California. We breed Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats for show, milking and pets. We also breed different heritage chickens. We truly enjoy our beloved goats, chickens, dogs, bunnies, mini pig, cats and our sulcata turtle.
Our journey with Nigerians started in 2016 when we got our first goats for milk and pets and it has progressed to having a performance herd with some lovely does, three of which are finished champions and bucks with great pedigrees. After attending our 1st show a couple years after having goats, we were hooked. We have truly enjoyed showing as a family and try to attend as many shows as we can. We had a great show season in 2022 and our does Sweet Tea & Valentine are now finished Grand Champions. In the 1st show of 2023 our doe Lexi got her 3rd champion leg and is now our 1st home grown Grand Champion!! We were also able to travel with our goats cross country to the 2022 ADGA National Show in Harrisburg PA and five of the six does we showed placed in the top 20!
We started DHIA milk testing in 2020 and are currently on our 4th season of milk testing, we participated on our 1st Linear Appraisal in July 2021 and had our 2nd Linear Appraisal in September 2022. Our herd will be getting appraised again in May 2023.
All of our goats are ADGA registered and our whole herd has tested negative yearly for CAE, CL and Johnes since 2016 and this year we tested the whole herd for Q Fever. See the 2023 negative lab results from UC Davis in the link below.
We bottle train, disbud and vaccinate all our babies and handle them daily to ensure they will be great additions to their next home.
